2007
Highlights included Specter returning to Hawaii and performing at
Wiamea Falls Park and the Red Elephant with The Dynamic Shuffle Kings.
Specter hosted the jam stage at the Chicago Blues Festival for the
second consecutive year performing with many special guests including
Steve Freund, Kenny Smith, Aron Burton, Eb Davis & Harlan Terson.
Specter performed with Robert Cray at The College of DuPage in Illinois
and returned to Mexico performing in Puebla with the Blues Divas
featuring Katherine Davis, Sharon Lewis and Peaches Staten.

2006 Highlights included 2 tours of Mexico with appearances at The 10th Mexico City Blues Festival and the Ruta 61 blues club.
Specter also returned to Switzerland where he performed at the Geneva
Blues Summit with R&B caravan, Lurrie Bell and Sugar Ray & the
Bluetones
Specter hosted the jam stage at The Chicago Blues Festival performing
with many special guests including Calvin "Fuzz Jones, Willie "Big
Eyes" Smith, Aron Burton an many others.
Specter also produced and performed at the Weber Grill Blues & BBQ
Festival in Chicago with Tad Robinson, Koko Taylor & Lonnie Brooks.

Meridian Etoile in Paris, France w/ Jimmy Burns, Rob Waters, Marty
Binder & Nora Jean Bruso
In
January 2004 Dave Specter toured England with top British blues band Sonny Black
and the Dukes (click on the picture for a larger view).
Dave and Sonny
were invited to perform at the BBC London Studios and were interviewed on the

Highlights included performances in the Swiss Alps, Luxembourg and Germany.In
March 2003, Dave hit the West Coast and performed 5 shows with fellow Delmark
recording artist Steve Freund and his band. Highlights included a sold out
show at San Francisco's Biscuits & Blues nightclub and a performance in Cotati,
CA for the Sonoma County Blues Society where Joe Louis Walker and Howie Specter
sat in with the band. In May 2002, Dave along with Tad Robinson,
Rob Waters, Harlan Terson and Marty Binder performed at the Electric Factory in
Philadelphia at a benefit concert for the American
Foundation for Suicide Prevention, sponsored by Forest Pharmaceuticals.
Also performing were Keb Mo' and Kenny Wayne SheperdIn May 2001, Dave
along with Tad Robinson, Rob Waters, Harlan Terson and Marty Binder performed
at the House of Blues in New Orleans at a benifit concert for the American
Foundation for Suicide Prevention, sponsored by Forest Pharmaceuticals. Also
performing on the bill were Dr. John and C.J. Chenier. Now available:

-June 2004: Dave Specter & Steve Freund record a new Delmark CD! "Is What
It Is" Release Date: Nov. 16th, 2004. Featuring 6 vocal and 6 instrumental
tracks including covers of Albatross, People Get Ready, Loan a Helping Hand,
Rollin' Man along with Specter and Freund originals. With Rob Waters, Harlan
Terson, Marty Binder and special guests: Barrelhouse Chuck & Mark Hummel.
-June 2004: Dave to record 2 tracks with vocalist Nora Jean Bruso for Severn
Records. "Going Back To Mississippi" Now Available on CD! -Dave appears on the
upcoming Joel Frankel children's CD: "Ship of Chocolate Chips", playing guitar
on "I Get the Blues When I Lose My Shoes". Legendary Chess Records session
musician, Morris Jennings plays drums on the CD. Dave
